Inter America 2025 part 2

--Along with local trails you can also attend large events like regional hashes (Pacific North West Inter Hash, Texas Inter Hash, Gold Rush H3, and so many more), national hashes (Inter Americas, Nash Hash, Euro Hash, and more), and then you have the biggest one of all the Inter Hash. All these hashes are not just show up for a few hours and you are done, nope! Typically they are a 3 day (Fri, Sat, & Sun) event and most often they have pre and post events with them.--

Thursday I helped hare the Founders Hash trail #18! We had roughly 12 founders that showed up that day. Some were not able to make it but that is life.  I had to scout

trail just hours before doing trail. The “true trail” millage was about 6.69 miles. So doing it twice in one day was a lot, over 12 miles. I did receive my punishment, a beer, for my sins of running by so many bars without stopping in side for a frosty mug. I-Feel Tower was the other hare and helped make sure the hounds stayed off my tail! He also did am amazing job with making a small song book for us so we could learn new songs from all over the world.

Friday we met up and had the opening ceremony with a costume party. I would guess 99 percent of my friends did not recognize me until I talked to them.  This was in partly due to the costume I had but also because I was clean shaven and a green face. Many had seen me with a full beard in Feb on the Waddle On-on cruise to Antarctica; I will have a blog for that adventure soon so subscribe to get updates on when I post my blogs.

Friday was a special day for I-Feel Tower because he and his wife were going to battle it out while wearing the long happi coats.  Back story: I Feel Tower held the Guinness Book World Record for longest wearable coat until 2023. His has two happi coats, one with 3,000+ patches that he has collected from all over the world and one that broke the Guinness Book Of World Record in May 2021. The record breaker is the all blue happi. Each happi coat is about 69.1 feet long, 25 pounds, and takes about 14 hashers to wear it. I-Feel wore his happi with all the patches while his wife, 2^nd Cumming wore the Guinness Book World Record holder happi coat. My girlfriend, Flybrator, and I had the honor of videoing this event. Flybrator was shadowing I-Feel Tower while I shadowed 2^nd Cumming. We came from different sides of the room. Once I-Feel Tower and 2^nd Cumming meant at the stage, they began the battle that seem to take hours (or maybe a few seconds) it is hard to say with all the fun we had. They locked hand to hand. Each one lifting their thumb high in the air! Next was not fun, it was dangerous! Their thumbs began moving around in a long battle to see who could pin whose thumb down. After much sweat and maybe a tear or two I-Feel Tower pinned his wife down on stage. Though I wonder who pinned who later that night!?!
